Anyone else seeing inconsistancies for length of time to be charged for eBay Labels.

For the longest time they were processing between 24 and 36 hours. Even had a few that had NOT be delivered to PO. that were charged.

Shouldn't there be some sort of consistency with billing??? I've even noticed major discrepancies for how long it takes for payments from buyers to be released. 1/2/3 days as of late.

I took a few weeks off in August so just back into it September but I've always found inconsistencies with the timing of label processing. I think the average for me was 2 - 4 days, there was the occassion freaky next day and a few that took about a week. I have two I'm waiting on now but I just printed them yesterday. I do find everything seems to take a little longer (including payment from buyer release) when they happen on the weekend, and of course we just had the long weekend.

Hoping there won't be too many hold ups. I'm waiting on payment for a number of items and I can't help but wonder if that coupon offer eBay has going is the issue - at least one buyer told me they were having trouble applying a coupon and eBay told them to try again in 24 hours - thanks by the way lotz for that link on the coupon promotion you posted in that thread, I wouldn't have even known.

This coupon thing may be screwing things up since it sounds like it can be used for items "in cart" which could include separated sellers so I don't know how they are going to work that all out. And the fact that the coupon is good until September 20th some people may be sitting with stuff waiting to combine it and get the higher coupon. Not sure if it's relevant to the timing you are asking about, but I can't see it helping! 😬

One would think it would be based on arrival at sort plant and any sort of audit. Not always the case. I've seen them billed before they were dropped off. Several times packaged/label generated Friday night. Charged Sat/Sun. Dropped off Monday. The parcels mentioned above have either been delivered or are about to be delivered. Then there are possibility of revised bills. Those can show up at the 7 to 10 day mark. Last one I got was for a local shipment. Dropped off on 6th of June. Del'd 7th. Original label charge June 7 (was MIA up until recently.) The surcharge went thru June 9. Only noticed because I saw surcharge but no label charge. For sake of semantics posted very late with inaccurate dating.

My preference is to have funds available to cover charges with MP. This keeps getting more and more challenging.

devon@ebay Is there new process in place for how long it takes verify eBay Label charges with CP etc? It was running smoothly in the past. 24 to 48 hrs max. As of late it has gone to all over the map. Has eBay extended autit times? I am seeing in excess of 4 days and up to 20 on a couple of occasions.

Unsure how this is going for everyelse but have started to see some consistency for billing of eBay labels over the last few days. Processing seems to be in a more timely manner. Appreciated if this got to the powers in charge and it was looked into/ addressed!!!!

I bought 2 shipping labels for UPS on eBay 2 1/2 weeks ago & was only charged for them today. That is the longest delay I have ever had in being charged for labels. I still have a few other labels from more than a week ago that I have not been charged for yet either.

rarely ever see that kind of delay...my most recent shipping label purchase(for Canada Post) was on Nov.6th and the charge processed on Nov.9th.

I am still having large delays in having shipping labels charged. Some of them are many weeks now. The items have long been delivered to the buyers & I still haven't been charged. Anyone else still dealing with this?

I was eventually charged for UPS label I was waiting on from Nov 22 on Dec 19th.

For Canada Post I have no charges for three from December 1st, 2nd and 5th.

Had 5 transactions come through for Dec 8-Dec 12 Dec 17th, and one on Dec 22.

Waiting for another from Dec 17th too.

I have one from Dec 4 that still hasnt been charged. In speaking to an agent back then regarding delays and getting credits i was told I would see credits in a couple of days after an audit had been completed.. That still hasn't happened. Now speaking to another agent they are advising me any CP credits have to be handled via CP directly. Problem being the issue discovered and confirmed (by eBay) is an ebay issue entirely.

These delays make it very challenging to get any charges that need to be corrected...corrected. Especially when eBay is the account holder.

My Dec 17th CP label transaction was made today Jan 8.

Still no charges for CP labels on Dec 1,2,5 (and Jan 2).

I finally got charged for 3 labels today from last month but am still missing a few more from farther back. And of course the charges come a day after my payout to the bank. So no funds available to use.

Is everyone starting to get caught up with CP eBay label charges? Had a bunch of veryyyyy belated CP ones finally get charged yesterday. I spotted this disclaimer note you see before you hit create label.

Payment by seller account

Once the shipping label has been used, the amount due will be automatically deducted from your funds or charged to your on-file payment method in a few days.

Curious to know what users are seeing if the are using UPS/Fedex as a processing time? Are sellers still seeing revised charges when they do get billed. They have recently added showing the discount on 1 level of the screen. Breakdown of tax and fuel is still MIA.

Processing time I've had:

Had some CPs charged on Jan 20th, that included Jan 2, Jan 15, Jan 18 labels.

Had a UPS charged Jan 16th for Jan 2nd label.

Still missing charges for 3 CP labels from first week of December, including one ExpLite when the ExpLite rates were messed up.

Revised charges ramble:

Canada Post is still generating labels bumped up to 23x20 when generated with ebay labels. Sellers still getting ripped off by that.

There's still issues with ExpLite. Luke said in the last webinar weeks ago that was still being worked out, but automatic refunds were to fix it, but I don't know how long those take. If mine was automatic last year it took 5 days.

Yesterday I sent ebay labels a list of all my 5 ExpLite labels/orders again that they did not give me refunds for last year.

Otherwise, CP expedited charges for me are matching the estimates.

When I spoke to eBay with a similar ramble about mucked up measurements and gave them several examples (which they could view at their end for confirmation), was told I would be refunded. I spoke to them a few weeks later and they passed it on as a CP issue only and talk to them. Only issue is it is an ebay issue entirely. The physical charge shows up with a bumped up amount. According to CP cs when packages are audited they will credit if measurements are both either not enough or too much. I have seen upcharges but NEVER credits. Personally losing faith in the whole pass the buck mentality of all this. Meantime have yet to see any credits. It's approx. 20 to 30 bucks worth.

I was also charged for 3 older labels yesterday. Hope they start charging them more quickly in the future. I hate getting hit with a large amount of them at one time.

Just had my uncharged Dec 2nd and Dec 5th CP labels charged, with some up to Jan 22nd. All matched the estimates.

Still no charge for Expedited Lite label on Dec 1st to the EIS Hub when rates were messed up.

Yesterday I had a UPS charge $1.05 less than the calculated rate.
