Canada Post has published a statement to inform their customers that they have issued a 72-hour notice to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). While providing this notice puts Canada Post in a legal position to lock out its workers as early as Monday, July 11th, 2016, it isn’t immediately clear whether Canada Post will do so, or how the union will respond.

This situation remains highly fluid, with many statements being issued both by Canada Post and CUPW. Sellers wishing to follow developments closely should visit canadapost.ca/update as well as http://www.cupw.ca/en/news-and-events. eBay will continue to post significant updates or changes on our Announcements Board.
