The Government of Canada has declared Monday, September 19, 2022 as the day of Her Late Majesty’s State Funeral and a National Day of Mourning.
As a federal Crown Corporation, Canada Post has declared that Monday will be a one-time holiday for its employees. There will be no mail collection or delivery and post offices will be closed. Franchise locations may be open during the host business’s hours.
For Canadian sellers, Monday will not count as a ‘business day’ when calculating handling time. eBay Canada will continue to communicate with shipping partners and adjust estimated delivery dates as the need emerges.
