FWIW-- EBay did have such a feature five or six years ago, maybe longer.
It was dropped because it attracted too much spam.
One trick to sorting the stuff that I want from the chaff, is to Search using Highest Price and Shipping First, rather than the default Best Match.
I find it easier to drill down a few dozen well described items to my price point than to wade through hundreds if not thousands of vaguely similiar or totally irrelevant items trying to find the actual products.
