Amid all the usual complaints, issues, problems and frustrations in selling on eBay, every once in a while you get a much-needed bit of humour.
A few days ago I sold an item (always a good thing anyway).
So... I packed up my box and I shipped to Beverly... Hills, that is. Swimming pools, movie stars...
Yes indeed, I had to LOL when I noticed the address, but especially the postal code -- get this -- 90210. Many of us for years have used this postal code (from the old Beverly Hills Cops show) to "guesstimate" our furthest possible shipping cost to the United States. I never thought I'd actually see it on a package. Oh yes, and I knew precisely what the cost would be.
(P.S. If you don't immediately recognize that line in bold, not to worry, it's a good thing, you're probably still under 50).
