Never say Never!  🙂

Amazon has it's advantages.;  Free shipping on purchases of $25.00 or more, hassle free returns, reviews, etc...but if you're looking for bargains only and don't mind Chinese made products then ebay may be a better choice for you.

My guess is through amazon it was authentic and through ebay you bought a knock off... In other words you will probably go through $40 worth of the one off ebay before the one of amazon would have had any issues...

Amazon is really good for deals it just depends on what your looking for ...

On that note my amazon store slowed down this year so far well my ebay store is taking off.....

The Chinese counterfeits are probably knock offs of other goods already produced in China, lol.

The item on Amazon was actually less than the one on ebay.  It as the shipping that was $40 on Amz.

Probably. But that doesn't mean that they are of the same quality. I don't know where ipods are made but lets say that they are made in China. I would bet money that the ipod you bought in Canada will have a much higher quality than the one you bought on ebay from Asia.
