I have several listings that showed problems with shipping calculation from Canada.
Ebay kept indicating that US Postal ZIP code was wrong or in error.
Fixed most by adding custom location for US and Expedited parcel service.
This fixed everything other than listings with 1lb weight for item where there was already a bid.
There was NO error if the item weighted less than 1lb or more or if there was not a bid or there was a bid and the item did not weight 1lb.
There is something about the 1 lb weight that creates an error in fields that CANNOT BE changed.
Problem is that listings where items weight 1lb and there is already a bid create an error.
it insists I must change the package sizes and weight although these are
1) Not wrong
2) correctly listed
3) are correct for the type of postal service and destination
4) cannot be changed as they are locked in by ebay (because the listing has a bid)
This does NOT occur where the item weighs 1lb and there is not yet a bid.
This does NOT occur where the item weighs more or less than 1lb and there is a bid
This does NOT occur where the item weights more or less than 1lb and there is no bid.
What is wrong?
How can I fix this situation without specifically ending those listings.

In future, use metric measurements when setting up Calculated Shipping on eBayCanada.
Canada Post went metric in 1974 and any other measurements are going to be approximations.
You can't change an auction that has bids.
At best you can cancel all the existing bids (Send each bidder a personal email explaining the problem) then end the auction.
You can edit the Relisted auction to correct the shipping measurements.
