After 3 weeks, USD is again higher than CAD

I do a small withdrawal to my Canadian bank account every morning and today is first time after March 31, when I received slightly more CAD that USD withdrawn. Cool ! 🙂

Wish I had seen your post this morning! It is back down again. I have been waiting for it to go up at least to par or more. Maybe someone else exchanged it before it went down again.

Yeah, thanks Dipmicro, I pulled out a couple thousand as well at the higher rate.
Conversely, it's been a great month to buy up stock from my US suppliers when our buck has been strong.

You are right, I have been using my Canadian VISA for purchasing in USD more than usual lately.

craftycatsattic, it's not that bad, today I drew C$169.43 out of $170, that is only $0.96 lower than yesterday. You need to realize that you will most likely not get the best rate there is or will be. If you withdraw in small amounts regularly, you offset losses with gains as currency fluctuates.

And we are back to normal. Today it was only C$166.96 from $170.

Today is on par again. In the morning I was able to get C$202 from $200, then it went down to C$800.16 from $800 later during the day. PayPal balance still showing more C$ than US$, this is unusual.

Another great time to withdraw- I just withdrew another couple thousand again- 1 U.S. Dollar = 1.05810 Canadian Dollars.....nice!!!! B-)
