Am I the only one fed up with eBay? Arbitrary decisions made against sellers?

eBay under new management?  Not impressed with the changes being forced upon Canadian sellers.  Not impressed with how listings are appearing under some strange new format.

The same thing is happening to me today. It is reverting back to Selling Manager. Clicking Back To Basics takes it back to normal page but only temporarily. I only use Selling Manager if I need to save my listings for 90 days. Otherwise I don't use it as I don't like the format. I went into Subscriptions & cancelled Selling Manager even though I didn't subscribe to it. It seemed to work & changed it back.

eBay has added Selling Manager  for use by Canadian sellers when the Migration Tool is to be used.

If one is already listing in Canadian dollars on eBay Canada....  then Selling Manager is not a critical option.

I have Selling Manager Pro with an Anchor store.

All pages can be customized to suit one's needs.

Before you decide to remove Selling Manager... make sure you will not need it......

and also  work with the customization option to see what one can do to set up the many pages available

Thanks for the reply but I am not prepared to accept the changes eBay is forcing down our throats ie. Canadian must list in CAD on eBay.ca.  I will cease my listing item with eBay as soon as my listings are no longer accepted.  The excuses given for mandating this are pure hogwash.

Thanks for the reply, I will try the method you have mentioned as the new format is **bleep**.

I will also cease selling on eBay once forced to list on eBay.ca in CAD.  The excuse they give for enacting this new policy are senseless.

You're not alone . Many Ebayers are frustrated with the actions of Ebay lately and evens from actions years ago.

End of the day, it their company and their party. They can and will do what they want to. It is too bad that they take no if little consideration of what Ebay sellers complain about.

What keeps me going with Ebay is they still generate just enough traffic to keep me hoping that Ebay will turn around. Im in my 8th year of waiting.

I guess it's like the old saying. Take it or leave it.

I will continue to sell on Ebay till I can no longer.

The policy change making eBay-Canada a single currency site - like all other eBay sites - has been announced and will not change.

Canadians can still sell in US$ if they wish.  To do so, they will need to list on eBay.com like all other international sellers (British, German, Australians, Chinese, etc...) wishing to sell in US$ instead of their own domestic currency)

Any seller-- no matter where her location-- must now list in CDN dollars on eBaydotCA.

We see questions here from Korean and British sellers who are using dotCA.

However, any seller-- no matter where her location-- can sell on any eBay site -- in the currency of that site.

The Korean seller is also selling in CDN dollars here, but may have listings on the German site in Euros.

Many of your items could be moved to dotCOM and continue to be listed without difficultly in USD.

Your actual problem would be those heavy or bulky items that require parcel rate shipping.

I'm listing my dress pattern and thin paperbacks, as well as paper ephemera and collectible stamps, on dotCOM in USD using Flat Rate (or more often Free) Shipping.

But my thicker heavier books are staying on dotCA where I can access Calculated Shipping.

Your tokens and paper money could easily be moved to the US site. But the pepper and salts or the Beswick should stay on the Canadian site for shipping reasons.

BTW-- Are you selling a baseball ball , as your title suggests or are you selling a baseball glove as the picture suggests?

Our existing listings are apparently grandfathered until August.

Ebay doesn't care if you stay or go!

I agree, most of us on the board are very small fish in a very large pond!
