Another store promo ... Not for me though and very specific

Wow they are really pushing to keep people from closing there stores

Sounds to me like they are trying to push .99 auctions. I don't see how that type of promo is an incentive for keeping a store. I think that a promo like that would be useless for most sellers.

Because it's for store seller only that's why 😉 ... But ya it does seem like a push for cheap auctions which we all know ebay is not longer that war bidding auction site it use to be

I think people read far too much into these promos;

I'd bet there is somebody or a team that are supposed to come up with these, if they keep doing the same thing over and over I doubt when they present their plan it would be received with anything other than "is that the best you can do, we pay you to be creative not just repeat over and over again".

I do think there is another person or team who do nothing but attempt to analyze the results of each promo and try to boil it down into a couple of lines of "we did this and this is what happened" to present at the weekly meeting.

You could very well be right but This was my First Store promo ever and it is coming just before the time to renew so it did strike me as strange but at the same time you could be right and I could be making nothing into something

In the past there were quite a few store only or non store only promos. From what I remember the non store promos were a lot more common as the store owners would complain about it.
