Beating the shipping cost

This is just an idea, but let's brainstorm on it if it's any good.

What about combining shipping among several shops and in the shipping section show this:

"You can combine S/H by weight from these fine eBay sellers: ..."

"You can also locally pickup your purchases from all the above sellers at the corner of X and Y streets in Toronto."

I will gladly drive to TO once a week (80km) if it boosts my sales and brings shipping cost sensitive customers.

OK, we could do that on the West Coast as well, say:^O street X and Y in Vancouver, which is about 80kMs from my place.:^O
