Best Offer Feature

Anyone sell items with the Best Offer feature?
I noticed an issue with one today where the buyer made the offer, and I accepted it, and then when I went to send him the invoice, it would not automatically add the 5% GST to the invoice (He is in BC). Then when I tried to update the invoice for him to show the GST in the dropdown for BC, it still would not go in.

So I had to put the tax in the bottom portion of the invoice where you can add or subtract charges, and then send him a message with an explanation attached.
No major deal, but it does not look very professional when the checkout system does not automatically calculate the taxes for you as it does for normal purchases.

Just wondered if anyone else has ever experienced this.
Cheers,
AXE.

In the last couple of months I have had the occasional issue with the tax not showing as well. They were not best offer sales so that is probably not the problem.

I tried everything and could not get the tax to show. It has happened about 4 or 5 times in the last month or two.

Never have figured out what the problem is.

Yes, it is a good idea to double check the invoice, no matter what type of sale it is. When I was finalizing my books for my RST return a couple weeks ago, I found several other regular transactions that should have, but did not, capture any of the tax on the invoices.

Cheers,
Darryl.
