I have never really gone through and counted up where in the world my sales were coming from. I thought for interest I would count them.
So far this month, Sept I have sold 44 CDs and the breakdown is
US - 21 sales
Canada - 10 sales
Australia - 6 Sales
UK - 2 Sales
France - 1 Sale
Netherlands - 1 Sale
Korea - 1 Sale
Hong Kong - 1 Sale
Japan - 1 Sale
Last Month August I sold 64 CD's and the breakdown is:
Canada - 27 sales
US - 25 Sales
Australia - 7 Sales
Germany - 1 Sale
Singapore - 1 Sale
Belgium - 1 Sale
Norway - 1 Sale
Spain - 1 Sale

The vast majority of my sales are always to the USA. I only ship to USA and Canada due to the high cost of international shipping and most of my items are simply too costly to ship outside North America. For that matter, it's getting to the point where they are almost too costly to ship out of Canada.
Compared to you I would be happy to have 40 some odd sales this month. The devastating lack of sales continues despite my working as hard or harder than ever, just nothing is selling! I know there are many others in the same boat.
Cheers,

Hi treasure.hunder.d
I have 4+ times as much as you have listed, so it is all relative. I am lucky that I sell CD's and they can go light packet.
You have sold 63 and have 207 listed. 30% overall sales
I sold 162 and have 887 listed. 17% overall overall sales
You have some really nice things for sale and I can see that you would have to pack it well to avoid breakage and can't sell internationally due to the high cost of shipping. Your sales are also good, selling better than me and at higher prices. So although I sell more, I don't make much money.
But it was interesting to know that you only sell to US and Canada. Thanks for sharing.

Almost all of my sales are to the U.S. as well, with the odd European or Aussia/NZ sale. For some reason I've never been able to break through past 5% Canadian sales, regardless of what I do (free shipping to Canada has made no difference at all).
So I've decided, with things being as they are on eBay and with every sale -- no matter how small -- being critical, to focus almost exclusively on my U.S. market. I'm in the process of transferring all my listings to .com, mainly due to the "cart disconnect" problems. It's an experiment, not without some costs attached (loss of free sub-titles on .cafr, higher FVFs on shipping), but I'm hoping it will make a difference in terms of sales. I am also interested to see if any changes occur in terms of search placement. I have a low volume, higher value turnover, so I always seen to be near the edge of the TRS transaction number requirement.
By the way 'treasure-hunter', did you recently switch to the new store format? How are you liking it? Any downside? I've been thinking about switching, but I really don't want to lose some of the features I've liked having, such as the Promotion Boxes, Store Pages, etc.

I ran my numbers outta PAYPAL for September (no sense running August, I was on "holiday" so it was mostly shut down.
(that information is very useful!)
Note that because this is out of PAYPAL, it covers all sales including other sites, if they used PAYPAL, so the number is a little inflated. (Many buyers on at least one of the other sites still use cheques so they won't affect the numbers.) Actual eBay number is probably 60ish.
US - 38 sales (55%)
Canada - 13 sales (19%)
Australia - 7 Sales (10%)(Australia will be higher for me these days as it is "winter/springish" there)
Russia - 3 sales (4%)
UK - 2 Sales
Chile - 2 sales
Italy - 1 sale
NZ - 1 sale
Saudi Arabia - 1 sale
Turkmekistan - 1 sale
Total sales 69
Comparatively, I'm running 2,700ish items on eBay, all BIN. If one extrapolates my numbers to date for September they'd come out to about 3.7% sell through which is a lot lower than you are experiencing, but it is running about normal for me.
My "new normal" sell through rate is in the 3 - 7% range, depending on the month (summer time is lowest usually, spring and fall higher).
September is usually lower for me, sales start building up through November.
A reminder that I'm a "stamp guy".

Mine for past 6 months.
Total = 102 items sold
Canada x 21 (21%)
USA x 52 (51%)
UK x 15 (15%)
Rest of the world x 14 (14%)
.

I actually switched when the new format first came out. I was a late store adopter as I really didn't feel I needed one until eBay did the hatchet job on free listings for folks with no store. So I really don't have much to compare with of the old format. Strangely, I still have a link that would allow me to revert back to the old format even after all this time, or at least thats what the link claims as I have not tried so who knows if it actually works lol.

My numbers surprised me but in hindsight, I do have a higher percentage of Canadian orientated items than I normally do.
It's been slow but in the last month -
Canada - 8 40%
U.S. - 6 30%
UK 2 10%
Sweden, Indonesia, Japan - 1 sale each
