Seller sold fake watch. Listed serial number and part number which did not even exist on the watch. While the onus is on seller to prove the watch is authentic as per eBay policy, eBay wanted me to prove that the watch is fake. Seller got my money and I got nothing. eBay quickly made a decision in favor of the seller, wow. Should pay with credit card next time, not PayPal.

I've been having exactly the same experience(s).
The new trend is to very quickly find in favour of sellers. These decisions are very fast.
In my cases(s) I'm sure they didn't even look at the listings, the pictures I posted, or read my messages.
I've always paid directly from paypal funds in the past but I'm going to start backing via credit card.
I've never done a CC chargeback but I've heard about them.
