Buyers having problems with PayPal.

I am so sorry but my paypal account is messed up beyond all recognition. I know it is supposed to be easy but it has always been a huge nightmare for me. As a result I will not be doing business with eBay or payPal anymore, including this round of purchases. If I can send you a check or you have another method of accepting credit card payment besides paypal, email me at xxxxxxxx so I can honor this purchase. If this is unacceptible please cancel the purchase and leave whatever feedback you want. I won't be using eBay again.


I received this message from a buyer today. She is obviously very disillusioned with eBay and PayPal. Another one came in later from another buyer who is having difficulty with PayPal not displaying her account. I have several lately that have had problems paying. Is anyone else hearing this from their buyers?

I had a buyer saying they had trouble with their Paypal account too. He had a perfect feedback score. Not sure what is going on.

Mid-December and several buyers are saying paypal is not working for them. December 14th and no time to waste. No updates on the paypal site to add any info. Don't know what the issue is.

I have had a almost 10 buyers experiencing significant problems paying with Paypal over the last few weeks. The answer they get from Paypal is different everytime. Sometimes Paypal is able to fix it and sometimes not. It's not just buyers tryng to weasel out of a purchase. These people are trying very hard to pay and having great difficulty. I have no idea what the problem is.

Two of my buyers are having the same problem with paypal. One of them purchased the item Nov 30th and finally gave up on Paypal and just sent me funds with Bidpay. This is the first time in the over 3 years selling on ebay that anyone sent me money with Bidpay. Hopefully everything will go through without any glitches. This Paypal problem might be a good thing for Bidpay.

I have had a few buyers claim Paypal issues in the past few months, but when they said they would send a money order, I never got that either. I don't believe there are any issues with Paypal since I have made several payments int he last 6 wks and have had zero issues.

I had a few customers before Christmas complain about PayPal but nothing since. Maybe they just had trouble coming up with the funds. The PayPal excuse could be right up there with "I was out of town" or "I was in the hospital".

Maybe I should start a thread for "Best excuses"...could be interesting....?:|
