I'm quiting my eBay business 😞 it is not easy to let it go after 5 years ... :_|

My question for you is:
Can I sell my eBay store? This would have to go with my user ID and feedback... is it legal to transfer it to somebody else?

Please don't report this post, this is not advertising! I already have somebody interested in taking over.

I think it's possible but you need to get explicit authorization from eBay to do so.

I don't know how you go about it but I guess the first step is to contact eBay.

If so- the NEW 'owner' may have none of your skills, or talents.

eBay apparently does permit transfers:
"Using eBay
While using eBay, you will not:
transfer your eBay account (including feedback) and User ID to another party without our consent;"
HOWEVER- they provide no further information on how to get that consent.

I'm selling my inventory and the store it self... I don't have any computer background so it took me a while :-x to create the store front, category pages and all listings.

Feedback is not only about me and my skills but also about items that I sell and how satisfied my customers are with them and this is very important for the new owner. We all know how difficult is to sell on eBay with no feedback.

As stated earlier...you can sell it provided ebay deems your user id to be linked to a business rather than a personal id. You have to gain their permission to transfer the id.
