Hi, i want to expand my business on ebay and also start a retail store for console (xbox, ps2, gamecube) video games and DVDs. So i was just wondering if anyone could provide me with some wholesaler lists who sells video games and DVDs at an affordable price (preferably in Toronto, Ontario). Also does anyone know if you need a special license for selling video games or DVDs (not the vendors permit or the business number) from Ontario. Any info. will be greatly appreciated. 😄

Looks like you sell video games. Why don't you post your supplier list on this board so your competitors check out where you buy your stuff?

You don't need any special licensing except if your total revenues go over $30,000CAD/yr. Then you *MUST* register as a business and charge PST/GST.

I wish you the best of luck in your business, but I sincerely, doubt if any competitor is going to hand you the key to their success on a silver platter by giving you a list of THEIR suppliers. I have many contacts and friends in the same line of business (records, CDs, memorabilia) as me but would never ask them or expect them to tell me where they are getting their stock and conversely I would never tell them where I find mine. My advice - Do a little research and you'll be able to answer the question easily yourself.
