Well I bought a new cell phone a week or so back, my old one decided to take a swim in lake erie. At least we know it's not the only foreign organism in the great lakes 😉 haha
The cell phone arrived scratched and the speaker wasn't working. I asked the seller about it, saying hey, your listing didn't say anything about it being damaged. My response was "well good luck finding a seller on ebay that will give you a real picture of the cell phone you're buying, and one they will guarantee is working perfectly"
The scratches I dont care so much about I'm good at making my own, one that floats might help though haha.
I guess what angers me is the ebay home page advertises these cell phones out the wazoo, these guys get the free advertising, and make $100 on a piece of crap full of some other person's photo's.
Where's the free advertising for my items?

Hmmm. Touchy subject.

Best advice - always pay using Paypal funded with your credit card. That way you will be pretty sure of getting your money back if you receive a non-functioning item.

Hope you get it worked out with the seller.

Thanks for the advice, always do and always back myself up, my issues is just that, what about the new buyers who come onto the site and give great sellers (like us) a bad name and cost us customers....
Where is the security for ebay sellers? You would think that ebay would be right on top of this issue, since its costing them customers and final value fees too.

what a bold answer from that seller. if he's selling cell phones, he should back them up, just like any seller should back up their product. i would certainly ask for a refund, and if he doesn't follow through, neg him....
by the way...this is the best place to complain...you're right at home...apparantly, I HAVE LOTS OF PROBLEMS...just ask our little buckaroo on these boards...!;-)

Hey gang! Thanks for the responses! Yes I did ask for a refund and or replacement, to which my response was, will refund price less shipping which was $25!
The postage from quebec via expresspost was $7.50!!
Which I also asked for a refund for. I even gave him the example of he bought a ferrari off me for $180,000 refular price is $400,000 it's just "used". When he gets it and it has no engine, is he not angry?
if I leave him negative he will do the same for me and that will effect my rating... how fair is that?
