Checking out With PayPal - On-Line Merchants

I had previously posted a message related to a problem I had had with Hudson's Bay when I tried to check out with PayPal. I received an error message and although my PayPal account showed "Order to" Hudson's Bay, the Bay had no record of my order. I presumed it was a compatibility issue between the merchant and PayPal.
Well, today, the same thing happened when I tried to make an on-line purchase with Ricki's. I called PayPal and the very nice CSR explained to me that it was because I didn't have funds available in Canadian currency. I sell in U.S. currency and my balance is in U.S. funds. That never occurred to me. So I simply transferred money from U.S. to CAD, placed my order again and it went through. I was so happy to learn this (maybe I'm the only one who didn't know this LOL). Thanks again to the very nice CSR at PayPal -- I believe he said his name was Benjamin.
