Yikes.  Must be a seller who got hit with a lot of INR / SNAD buyers.

This will sound flippant, but I'm serious: the days I feel like the person who created that listing, eating a bag of beef jerky greatly reduces my urge to commit homicide.

Hello all from oz!

I find your boards here far more friendly & entertaining than down under.

Many thanks for the laugh.....coffee sprayed everywhere !!!

May I contribute one from the .com.au site ?

Not in the same vein as yours but I found it amusing.

Btw I am very impressed by the professional & in depth manner that eBayer's questions are answered.

Such a pleasant change from some of the vitriol one sees on other boards.

Anyhoo....Happy New Year to you all.

That is a great ad. 'I must be deranged!' Haha. I have an uncle who'd appreciate it for all the right reasons, must share. Thanks.

Happy New Year to you, too mate!

And thanks for the kind compliment about us.  It tends to confirm what we think of as our national trait: "niceness".

I have to say I laughed more at your Aussie still-seller's ad than at the out of control American woman with the 10-ton chip on her shoulder.  I especially liked his vivid comparisons between his product and that of other still-makers.  And the promise of no cats in garbage bins.  And the Santa Suit.  And the chick with the stick.  This guy knows how to be entertaining.

Have a great (warm) day down under.  (Do you guys know what -10 degrees feels like?)

Cheers!  Woman Very Happy

Hi rose

Surprisingly I know what -12 degrees feels like....... get's cold in places here.....and we do have snow.....although I live in an area where we are just about to come into our "Warm" season......about two months of plus 40 degrees.!!!

Best regards,....tuck.

Plus 40 degrees.

Is that Centigrade or Fahrenheit.

Canada is metric.... with Centigrade... 40 is very, very hot....

the US is imperial ... with Fahrenheit... 40 is mildly cool...

Australia uses metric.

I don't think that they would refer to 40F as their 'warm season'.  🙂

Hi, yeh that's centigrade ! By February it will get to  46-48 degrees !!!

Although we are still ruled by HRH we do have the metric system here also.

Yet ask the average ozzie their height & weight & the answer will be something like 80 kilos & 5 foot ten.

We're a bit slowwwwwwww over here.

Thanks again for allowing me to post.
