He has over 500,000 comics. I couldnt sell any though I tried for a month or so. Too many sellers out there and not enough demand.
If you are interested, I will see if I can find his addy and email you.

Give me a day or so. I recently moved and I dont have all my boxes unpacked. His name and number are in one of my briefcases in a box.
He was Ottawa's first brick and mortar comic book store where he operated a large retail store for 25 years. He gave up retail because of rising municipal taxes and lease rates and has all his comics and other coolectables such as trading cards and records in a large warehouse and has at minimum 500,000 comics, 100,000 records and everything is catalogued.

Quick question. If there are too many sellers, not enough buyers, and a very competitive market, why would you want to start listing comics?

Im not starting out man, i have been listing them for the last year or so and i seem to have a fiercly loyal cliental...i just cant seem to get the books in fast enough for these people....i think the key for this type of product is to be a specialist and really know your comic books...after a lot of hard work i have a really decent repeat customer base and therefore can now absorb comics by the hundreds of thousands...takes a lot of time to get here though

Thanks for the info.
But talk about a lot of work. And you have lots of listings for low priced goods. I can only imagine your ebay fees.
If you make money, go for it.
You may also want to advertise in some local print media, offering to buy collections.

He has over 100,000 LPs (beats my personal collection of about 750).
I will pass along his phone # for you as well (as soon as I find the right box with his info in it).

I told him its not my main trade, but I "know" some PowerSellers on eBay. This would be you. 😉
He asked me to put you two in contact with each other. Please email me at:

(To get his email info)
Thanks!
