Every time I try to contact ebay with a general question, I get a few options to choose from. None of the options fit what I want to ask (or comment on) and if it doesn't fit - you can't go forward. Is there a way around this?
There should be an "Other" or "Comments" option.

Just choose one at random. Eventually you may get a human being.
With luck the human being will actually know something about your problem, speak a language you know, and understand difficult concepts like "CANADA".
Or ask your question of the busybodies your fellow eBayers here.
Most of us have plenty of experience and even more opinions.
You may not get what you want, but you will probably get what you need.

Perfect.
When the request for cancellation arrives, agree immediately.
Both of you will be freed from the transaction.
Both will be able to leave feedback, so thank the seller for helping you so promptly.
The seller gets his selling fees back, which can be upwards of 20% of your billed payment.
Simple and friendly.
