Copyright violation

I had a listing on ebay that was taken down due to copyright violation. Unfortunately, the message does not contain any information as to what specifically I have done incorrectly. Overall I'm just generally looking for more clarification on the issue.

 

Originally I was selling copies of Windows 8 I no longer needed from a group of pc's I had in my workgroup on ebay. I purchased them from Best Buy and wanted to sell them since they are no longer needed. Microsoft at some point reported my listing as a violation. I emailed them in order to seek clarification but got no response. I called ebay but they have no understanding of what the issue is.

 

How can I proceed forward? I still want to sell these items through ebay. From what I see, others are selling the same items (in greater quantities then I was). I don't want to infringe but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

 

Can anyone provide me with some guidance going forward? I genuinely don't want to disregard any rules, but I do not know what to do.

You should be able to reach out to Customer Support for this - either by going through the link on the top right hand of the page, or maybe replying to that email you received?

Hi Kalvin,

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The email provided regarding the issue is a noreply email. I did call customer service regarding the issue, but they did not have any information regarding the matter. Only that I should speak with Microsoft (as I have already done to no avail)
