I really dont take anything lightly and I am far from being a pushover. As a matter of fact, in addition to eBay and being a Business Cosultant, I am also a litigation specialist well-versed in commercial law.
I had negotiated credit facilities with Canada Post so I am not out of pocket for their over-charges and while those charges remain reflected on their monthly statements sent to me, they have not suspended my account, my credit facilities nor have they charged me the always threatened 18% interest charges.
I have pointed out to them, legally where their contract and billing methods are without merit and would not stand up in a court of law and suggested that if they dont clean up their mess, I would take the matter to the next step and sue them just to prove how wrongthey are and unscrupulous.
Every few months, they do a partial 'clean-up' of my account and 90-150 day old deductions either completely or partially disappear from my statement.
Further, my last 2 billings were almost without any errors at all and came as close as I could ever expect to what I anticipated I should be charged.
The problem as I have always said with Canada Post is that they forget that they are strictly a service industry and we are the customer for whom they should serve.
That doesnt make them any less than us, but it sure as h&*l doesnt make them any better.
