I ordered a miracurl curling iron for my daughter January 10th.I still never received it.I checked out the sellers profile and I couldn't leave any feedback. For some reason the picture of the item is even gone now in my purchase history.I was reading the sellers feedback and every post said he was a scam and he just takes your money and runs.I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM EBAY AGAIN!!! can't believe I can't even find a way to contact Ebay about this.DISGUSTED! .he would not reply to my messages either.

Why is it eBay's fault that you didn't educate yourself on all the buyer protection avenues you had available?

Hello 'souwestcabin',
I am so very sorry to hear this happened to you. It will be of little consolation to learn
that it is common among new users. In my case it was a violin.
Once it happens, we smarten up in a hurry.
There is a system in place for no-show items. You have 45 days in which to file a claim.
That is usually enough time for any international order but not always. Still, if no money and
no item, you need to file by day 43 at the latest. The following link explains how it works:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html
It is too late now, but if you used a credit card you may be able to call teh 1-800 number on the
back of the card and ask for a chargeback. If this is an option, have all the transaction details in
front of you when you call.
You can view the item and details from your Purchase History archives. First, go to the My eBay
drop-down menu at the top of the page and select Purchase History.
Under the Purchases bar where it says Show: click Archived.
Items are only viewable (considered 'recent') for 60 days. This is because after 60 days you can no
longer leave feedback, - as you have discovered.
But you can still see anything you bought for the last 3 years in your archives.
And just so you know, - we are not allowed to list other members IDs on the board (another common
mistake by newbies) so your post will soon be edited to remove that. What we can do, is post the
item number from a listing when we have a query or if something doesn't seem right.
As for your seller, he will soon be removed from ebay, what with all those negs.
Again, truly sorry you had such a miserable learning experience.
