Do featured listings work?

I mean have they worked as you had hoped or did you pay in vain?

And how do they work? Are they like adwords or a one time payment?

these are not available yet to us Canadians.  as far as i know..

Promoted Listings do work. The seller sets the amount and only pays IF the item sells. They have been available since Fall of 2017, I've been using them since that time with moderate success.
