Does this mean that if I sell "toonywidgets" and someone is looking for "toonywidgets", my listing might not show up because I am not one of the "favored ones"?

I have noticed several times in the past that I would look for some item that I have listed and the search engine did not bring it up. Then I would look in my "actives" and it was there.

Does eBay control whether or not our listing will appear or how often?

I need an explanation on this one.

Close. Your listing will show up...probably on page 10 though.

Yes, they are going to control search results.

this feature will be bad for sellers selling alot of the same things (ipods etc...) as opposed to those sellers who sell original items...

Or the newbie seller who copied my descriptions who still has 100% FB and a higher DSR than I do but has drastically undercut my prices.
