Why are you YELLING at me?

 

It matters because there are time limits.  You know... so buyers can't file a claim 6 months after receiving the product and then using it then saying they never got it.

What happened to sour you so much?

 

There are two ways to tackle a bad deal which I'm sure you already know:

 

1) Phone them and speak to a live, warm body which I'll admit has never gotten me anywhere when I did so or:

 

2) Go through the resolution center where I always got refunded.

 

If as you mentioned you were inside the time limit and followed the regulations you should have had no problems but if you freak out and start accusing people of whatever they'll just walk away. It may not seem fair but it's been my notice in the past that if you're polite and state clearly what you believe happened you'll get a positive outcome.

 

That's only my take mind you but as I said, I'll be polite, I'll be clear  and I've been refunded 100% of the time so far when I filled a claim.

This is a member to member help board. No one from eBay reads these boards. In order to get help, you need to provide information about your problem. And you shouldn't yell at people (typing all in caps on message boards is viewed as yelling).

 

If you bought something which you never received, you need to file an Item Not Received complaint with eBay. If you are past the deadline for that, then you should turn to your credit card issuer (as suggested by Femmefan) for a chargeback, if you funded your Paypal payment with a credit card.

Which post suggests anyone is "protecting the seller".

 

People have been giving you the advise based on their experiences.

 

In the end, no one on this board can do anything for you - only your interaction with ebay (or credit card) can solve the issue.

No one here is 'protecting the seller'! I'm not a seller and have no intention to do so. I, like you am a buyer only.

 

There are stipulations in place that protect all of us but you've got to follow them to the letter.

 

Since you still haven't said what it was that happened I'll assume you didn't get whatever it was you won/bought. If that's the case and the time allotment has passed then as has been suggested talk to your credit card company if that's who you used but if you paid with cash transferred out of your Paypal account then sadly it seems you've been had!
