EBAY LIVE OR ON LOCATION

Hi,

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard if ebay will ever bring back the EBAY LIVE conference?  I've been to 3 of them and they were very informative and the most important part it put faces to names. I found it real helpful that once you attended you would know what the US customers were doing and how their business methods differed from Canadians consider the resources they have.

I know there is Ebay on Location but they've never held that in Toronto or in any other Canadian city for that matter. Its also done ins a much lower scale.

Any input or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think there will ever be a Live again. They keep their lips sealed on EOL. This is getting pretty late for a spring event. There is the eBay Radio Party in June in Las Vegas, but, not the same thing.

There will never be an EOL in Canada. Talking to people who know, the logistics of the border make it too much to do.

I went to the Canadian Breakfast in Boston and Chicago. There was a group of about 10-12 of us that met at the Chicago airport and gang rented a bus to reduce costs.

Don't know about Canadian Breakfast back in Las Vegas in '06, but, there was a Canadian Pinks booth on the display floor.

yes we had a Canadian breakfast in 2006. Pukmis even flew down with Tim Horton's coffee which the resto made for us. There were at least 4 Canadian pinks and the Country Manager who later moved on to Paypal.

Pretty special events eBay Live but difficult to manage internationally I'm sure. And costly.
