Our Canada Post "fake" small packet tracking number will not count anymore. I will forever lose my TRS status on US Ebay in a few weeks.

It depends what you sell and how it is mailed. If you sell stuff where it makes little difference all the more power to you.

Not all of us are in that position. I personally find as a lot of people do shipping from Canada overall is ridiculous price wise.

Small packet to US (0.3 kg) - 10,60 dollars.

Tracked Packet to US (0.3 kg) - 15 dollars (WITH TRACKING NUMBER)

Priority mail US (0,3 kg) - 4,20 (WITH TRACKING NUMBER)

How much weight is 4 ounces? Canada Post went metric in 1974, and using Imperial measures will skew the rates you are paying.

Ounces or grams the resulting increase in price is the same. I have tested quite thoroughly whether it makes any difference at all using Imperial or Metric when I fill out my Canada Post paperwork (They offer both) and IT DOES NOT!

Ground service varies. UPS is contracted for the delivery south of the border. Upper States MI, OH, NY, PA, VT, ME etc. 1-3 days.
NS, SC, TN, KY etc 2-4 days,   FL GA, AL, LO etc 2-5 days  CA, TX, AZ, WA etc 4-7 days 

I ship Free to USA & Canada. For the most part I absorb that as a cost of business  The only time that hurts me is for Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico on larger cartons. My average item selling price is around $65.

I hope you guys really wake up .. Shipping Time DSR is a joke and ebay and users all know it .. I have probably bought close to 30,000 worth of stuff in my time on ebay and only once did I give a hoot about shipping time and this was before I was a seller so ebay says it is a important part of buyer satisfaction...

To some yes to other no . ..

Me being a Heavy buyer and medium seller I can tell you this ticks me off to know end .. Not only did they keep the Dsr rating but they could not even change the wording to say How Fast to buyer ship item out ....

I mean really feel like dirt right now .. Ebay cares so little that they can't even change some simple HTML to re word the rating...

As a buyer and seller Losing me is worth alot more then losing most of you tiny littly $50 a week buyers so tell me why could ebay not even take 1hr to help the sellers out ..

I live in a Rural area and with Canada post Changing it deliver to box drop off it is going to be a nightmare...

Buyer checks mail monday not there but it show up in box on tuesday but buyers dones't go back till friday not I am going to get a bas Shipping Time DSR but if you reworded it so it was CLEAR what buyers were rating you on I would not have these issues..

Get some one from ebay to do something about this ... You wanna keep the rating because you feel it's important well keep it but change it to help out your big buyers and small to medium volume sellers..

I might be small but ebay made almost 30k from me last year between buying and selling and I would be willing to bet you can add up 100's of other buyers to get those figures you made just off me last year ,,,

I am steaming on this one ....

Now when I see Were trying to help I know it's BS and hopefully Me and the dozen of other on the boards will stick it to the man..

How much do you think it would cost ebay if we stopped helping all there customers on here .. Maybe a couple milllion a year ...

Elm wood it is harder to sell from Canada if you paying for what you sell .. You take scrap peices of cars from scrap yards for most likely pennies .. I mean i could buy 2 scrap cars for 50 bucks and sell what your selling and nothing would affect me either but what you do is different from alot of others ..

If you had to pay $20 for a part that sold for $40 you would be crying about Canada shipping prices like the rest of them 😉

Must be frustrating for you Brande as living in a rural area has its disadvantages.

I cannot think of another seller that has had as many PITAs than you in the last two years.

Somehow you always managed to weather the storm & have rewarded yourself with a new property.

I know LOL .... I am starting to wonder why i run the store though beca use I make such good money at a job I love ... I think if someone came in with a good offer I would sell off my store in a heart beat right now...

From shipping issues to retarded feedback to being booted off amazon because a buyer thuoght an old 3D movie was New 3D I am just getting so sick of getting the shaft and when My career a.k.a job is so well paying it makes it hard for me to keep going but I guess making $100 every night i sleep is good too...

The Shipping DSR is just such a simple fix yet people making 1/2 million a year can not even word a simple phrase properly so it is protrade the way they want it to be ....

Don't sweat it Brande, your Shipping Time DSRs are fine.

Admit it, you still enjoy selling.

Sure taking pictures & listing is time consuming, but its still fun, plus my wife gets tired of me adding my own dialogue when CSI is on..

I do enjoy it but sometimes I just want someone to give me a break.. Even though some buyers really do light up my day .. Like a US buyer last week Wrote me to specifically tell me that is the fastes they have ever gotten an item even from domestic items and will e back to buy something shortly..

That was very nice but was crushed by my next message of it's been over 30 days where is my item ..
