EXPRESSPOST SIGNATURE....GUARANTEED?

If I mail an item ExpressPost with buyers signature required, is this a guarantee that I could win a claim of an item not received? Is there any other ways to ship items to better cover the sellers back? Happy Holidays all!

XpressPOST w/Signature service is only available for shipments destined within Canada.

Depending on the value of your item, ie: if it is over US$250 in value then PAYPAL SELLER PROTECTION eligibility requirement require that you draw a signature on delivery.

UPS and FEDEX both offer this service for an extra fee. Fedex also has a service called DIRECT SIGNATURE which means only the person who's name is on the package can sign for the package and if they are not home to sign for it they will try 2 more times before the parcel is sent to a local office and they then have to go in person to pickup the item - this service is really good for high priced items - we use this service for all our laptop shipments.

Whatever you do - DO NOT SHIP with CanadaPOST whatever they tell you on the phone -- you will NOT get a signature.

Good Luck
