Ebay is not recognising my Postal Code, saying its invalid. What should I do?

I'm having trouble selling an item. Ebay is not recognising my Postal Code for some reason. It's saying it's invalid and needs to be changed otherwise it won't let me post. What should I do?

Try the postal code of your city hall or another municipal building.

The main purpose is to identify your location. It is not unusual for new suburbs to have this problem.

When you can correct the postal code, do. This is a quick fix only.
