Ebay authorized Chinese sellers to sell on Ebay and do dumping and we can't sell on Aliexpress because we are not on mainland China. Ebay will have to wake up because Chinese dumping is destroying our business and Ebay at the same time

Doesn't the Government of China also subsidize internal industry which might explain why prices are so much lower on Chinese products.
I know subsidies exist but not sure which industries etc.

Sad -- just sad... making sales is hard enough if you want to actually make a living selling on eBay... but eBay is a big business; and big businesses don't get rich because they turn the money down...

You can't subsidize something unless you have money for the subsidy.
Chinese incomes are much lower than Western ones. About $9242USD compared to $44,510 USD in the USA.

The cost of living is also lower, although to be fair the comfort level is also lower.
It's not so long since a Chinese family with a TV, and electric fan and a couple of bicycles was considered well-off.
In spite of this, Chinese manufacturers have been outsourcing to find ever cheaper employees, not only to Asia, but to Africa, a move which has barely been noticed in the West.
