I believe that I have found an error in the eBay catalog. It may be a common misconception by the general public as well.
I have found by researching on Apple's web site that there was not a 3rd generation, 8GB, iPod touch, however there are many listed on eBay. A seller told me that he found it in the catalog and I checked and found it too.
According to Apple there were only 32GB and 64GB 3rd generatioj iPod touch devices. One way to check is tyring to upgrade to iOS 5. only 3rd generation and up will upgrade.
Please let me know if i am in error. If I am not, how can this be resolved so that buyers get the correct information about what they are buying?
