Expedited USA dimensions not working?

Some reason today when i try to use paypal canada post shipping tool it wont let me use expedited USA parcel. Says Not valid dimensions..   my size is 9x6x4 INCH  4LB   . I tried a bunch of different sizes but still not. I have used this method many of times before with the same size.

Any other reports of the Expedited working now? It still is not working for me.

I have just tried one last time for the day and no luck.

Still getting the error message: You have chosen an invalid package size for the class you selected. Please select a different size for your shipment.

Fingers crossed it will be resolved by morning - We can always use the Canada Post site but the discounts on PayPal are much better than our contract rates direct with the post office 😞

Still not working and I just went through a big production of going back and forth with a customer who needs their items before the end of next week, in the US. Agreed on price, went to print the label, not working. Nice. They have had people complaining about this since yesterday, come on!

In addition, it still says $100 insurance for small packet. How hard is it to update their information so it is actually accurate? They had months notice about that change, and here we are, months later and it is still there. Inexcusable.

Thanks to extremetech99 for the tip to print through CP. I have never done it before. It was not complicated and saved my butt in this instance, since I had promised my buyer I was going to print their label right away and drop the package off at the post office for the morning pick up.

Wondering if you need to be logged in to get Venture1 discount? I didn't see any place to input my number, but I wasn't logged in. Or is it not available for online shipping...?

I also have the dimension problem sometimes shipping via Expedited within Canada, but it's usually because I forget to choose one of the 'parcel' or 'envelop' option.

Maybe the problem with Expedited to the USA is because it's needs to choose an option but the choices don't show up in the first place.

Still not working ,

The "service type" I'm trying to use is same as always,

"Expedited Parcel-USA (4 - 8 business days)"

I called PAYPAL MAY 08, 2013  09:43AM there are working on it I have a Question Reference # 130508-000304.

I hope it's up soon.

I also feel that is the exact reason why this is not working.  It seems recently at some point for Expedited in Canada paypal added the parcel or envelope buttons and if you don't have one chosen it will give this exact error.  I think when they added this they forgot to disable the same check for Expedited USA, so no matter what you do you can't go forward as there is no way to check off parcel or envelope as those options don't exist.  I have confirmed I get the exact same error with Expedited Canada if I don't select parcel or envelope.  

So you'd think Paypal would have some programmers working for them that could figure this out in a few minutes (not 3 days as were going on now!) and have a fix! 

But I guess that would be asking too much!

Just tried to get a label going to the US, Tracked Packet was missing, Expedited just kept giving me the wrong dimension message whan there was nothing wrong with the size, so I was forced to send it air mail with out proper tracking or insurance. It was only a 25.00 item so not worth the extra cost to go to Canada Post online and do it there. I see that they have time to mess around with the new eBay look, how about fixing something that is more important like the shipping labels?

 HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FIX THIS!!!!!! ??????!

Just wanted to point out that the customer above paid for air mail, but I always upgrade to a tracked service on these small parcels.

I see this problem is now going into its 4th day. I haven't had this shipping issue before since I only occasionally use Expedited US service. Of course, I needed it yesterday, and today is my deadline for shipping. My question is: is there any way to gauge how long it will take to fix the problem? Days? Weeks? Should I wait until 4:30 in case it's fixed during the day? Anybody got experience with that? I need to ship a parcel today for sure, and will certainly lose money on the shipping I charged buyer if I don't get the eBay discount. I do have a Venture One card, but I can't seem to make it work online, so I guess it's to the P.O. to fill out the manual forms. What a pain!!!

Canada Post does their updates on Saturday nights so that notice isn't unusual. I would guess that the paypal shipping problem is a problem with the programming, not something that is coming from Canada Post.

If someone pays you at 11 PM on Thursday............... when does the 1 day handling time expire?

Would that be Monday at 8?

All of a sudden it sort of matters.............

Do they count days as 8 hour days from Monday to Friday, or are we on call 24/7?.

Good question.  I do not have a definitive "eBay" answer.

However, from my experience, if i offer "one day handling" in my listings and a buyer pays at 11pm on Thursday, the goods will be mailed on Friday, no ifs and buts about it.

Agree borntofarm, having troubles with the new look & the format has made it more difficult to upload my pics have to use standard upload & well you wouldn't think it would make a difference but IT DOES big time! taking me nearly 2x the amount of time to get a lising up there when there was no problem with the other. GET THE PAYPAL SHIPPING FIXED!  must I call again makes no difference just another waste of time for me.

Yes, and under normal circumstances this is true for almost all of us............ 

Not just you.

However......... the fact is that if it's dropped in time for the Friday afternoon PO pick-up (5 PM in my case) It makes no difference as it won't be going anywhere until Monday morning anyway.

Therefore, there is no point in getting anal and allowing our OCD tendencies to surface.

Buying the label elsewhere at this point to speed delivery time amounts to diddly-squat in terms of real time.

In other words, at this point the only clock that "might" be ticking is the eBay Clock.

My buyers won't have to wait any longer no matter what I do on a Friday Afternoon.
