I received the following message from a bad buyer ;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I phoned trust and safety, she told me over the phone that it is ebay policy to support the buyer with his extortion and blackmail attempt, therefore they will not remove the negative.
This is a very dangerous first.

It comes down to this...you sold something you did not have...the buyer was not happy and left negative feedback. That is as it should be.

P.S. You should block me...I'd have left you a negative too!

The Royal Mint sold that coin for $750, not $2,000+ as someone suggested. The OP would probably have paid less since he is a dealer. So he shouldn't have been out any money to sell the coins for $800-$900+.
What I found odd is that according to the ebay listing on Sept 22, he had at least one coin in stock. But he choose to sell it rather than send it to one of the buyers that purchased the coin 10 or so days earlier. I am guessing that he had originally pre-ordered more of the coins from the mint but the mint wasn't able to provide them. There's nothing wrong with preselling but the mint has oversold coins before so there is always a small risk that all of the coins ordered won't be received. If the risk doesn't pay off then the seller has to take the responsibility since the buyers didn't know that there was any risk involved.
