Feedback deleted by Seller

What is the point of leaving feedback if Sellers can delete it??? I recently left neutral feedback and the seller deleted it. That makes me angry and I am not going to bother leaving any feedback. If you can't be truthful about your transaction then why bother?

Re: Feedback deleted by Seller

I posted twice not knowing where to place this. I thought it was the seller. Can't imagine why ebay would remove it. Thanks for your help.

Re: Feedback deleted by Seller

As stated on the other thread where you raised that question, sellers cannot remove feedback.

Only eBay can.

"Can't imagine why ebay would remove it."

It could be because of some wording within the comment or if mention is made of GSP (those sellers are protected) or....

Re: Feedback deleted by Seller

I've had that happen before too! Once when I bought an item from the US, paid GSP fees & everything & they had the item drop shipped from Alberta. I was furious! Especially when ebay should have known they never handled it.
The other time was on a fake autograph. I called ebay about that & the rep even saaid it shouldn't have been removed but there was nothing they could do.
