Finally received a neg :)

Finally got our first neg of the year, together with a Paypal claim.

Since we had split the shipment into 2 packages and none were allegedly received, I became suspicious and looked up the buyer's history.

2 months only on eBay and that little puppy has been active, racking up a $3,000 bill alone in the last 30 days.

An inquiry to some of his sellers confirmed my suspicions.

Had a long chat with a Paypal rep today who was very understanding and made some notes on the file. He would not discuss the buyer's account but did advise he would forward the case to the fraud dept.

I sensed there was something going on that he could not tell me about. Let's see if Paypal turfs him and, if so, if eBay will follow suit.

Good luck with this one Bernie. I hope he gets the boot.

Re: Finally received a neg :)

His feedback given does not indicates any pattern of excess INR disputes and there is no revised fb. 1 month is not enough for many international destinations (e.g. most of Asia, South America), this needs to be explained.

IMO this buyer is legit and he may surprise you by coming back and revising.

Re: Finally received a neg :)

Except that out of 5 vendors we contacted, 5 stated that he had filed INR's.

Re: Finally received a neg :)

He turned bad then. Like my buyer from Israel I wrote about in one of previous threads

eBay is producing these buyers, they are originally good people but given the opportunity and demonic whisper from the master devil ("We will protect you, file a dispute, get your money back, get your money back ..." echoes in their minds), they eventually give-in and fall.

One day someone will say - eBay is probably the worst thing that happened in e-commerce evolution.

Re: Finally received a neg :)

Go to the paypal forums - paypal already has that crown, according to 80% of the posters.

Sorry about the neg, bernie.

hehe....

No worries about the neg. Still at 100% and anyone that cares to search so deep and find the text will quickly realize that it's a non-issue.

Paypal is the worst company! they see nothing, the hear nothing!... What they only wan?.. MAKE MORE PROFIT WITH LESS TROUBLE AS POSSIBLE! That's it!... I had to deal with them many time for fake claim and such problem, and never had any support of them, neither via my account manager who tried to talked with Trust & Safety AND paypal... that's a huge gimmick!

Good luck folks!

Re: Finally received a neg :)

You are absolutely CORRECT!

eBay and Paypal cultivates these people into bad apple.

For a business found on the principle of feedback, there's no feedback for eBay or Paypal themselves; but if there is it would SHAME THEM TO DEATH, especially with Paypal.

All these talks about customer service is laughable, not picking on ebay and paypal; most big corporation gets a failing grade 😞

Re: Finally received a neg :)

Well,

it took eBay 6 months to finally realize what this "buyer" was all about.

This morning our only neg of the year was gone and the ID has been NARU'd. We received a neg, out of the blue, for allegedly not one but 2 packages not being received. The buyer had also scammed other sellers.

I thought eBay only deleted negs in the case of NARU when the ID was less than 3 months old but I guess not 😄

Re: Finally received a neg :)

I wonder how much the buyer "purchased" during the 6 months.

You said he acquired $3k/m before, over several months, that should be enough for criminal charges. I wish something like this hit the news with proper consequences rendered, so undecided scamsters would think twice before sending that dreaded INR.

Re: Finally received a neg :)

Funny thing is that about a month ago he emailed and asked why he was blocked and that he wanted to buy something from our store.

I Google-translated several choice words into Vietnamese (he is located there) and emailed him back.

He had several 100 transactions, often in the 100's of $$'s, all related to radio control toys. Probably a re-seller looking for the lowest possible CoG (Cost of Goods).:^O

Canada Post reimbursed us but the neg was a bit vexing as he had made no previous effort to let us know of the (alleged) postal loss.
