Why are the global shipping charges hidden until you commit to buy . Very deceiving on eBay's and paypal's part all shipping charges should be disclosed at time of purchase not after you have committed to buy and can't back out.

Why is putting the probable import charge which will be added to the shipping charge "sneaky"? It may be more than you want to pay, but most of it is made up of the Canadian sales taxes and Canadian import duties that you would be paying to Canada Post or to UPS before they would release the parcel to you. And neither of those would tell you the amount before you bid. You'd learn the cost on your doorstep.
