Help with payment on combined invoice

I recently won a number of items from the same seller. I then received an email invoice with everything combined, upon clicking on "pay now" it only shows me one of the items along with an error message at the top stating "one or more items can not be purchased, please attend to the items in red." Then below it says "shipping not specified". The seller is no help. Do you know what I am supposed to do here?

Is the seller refusing or baffled?

If the former, you can Report him as an unresponsive seller, but if he is baffled he can  send you an invoice for your entire purchase, including combined and discounted postage through Paypal's Request Money/invoicing service.

You and he are covered by PP's customer protection policies. So no worries there.

He should give the eBay transaction numbers in the text box of the invoice.

He will have to mark the items paid and shipped manually, since PP can't do this automatically when he sends a PP rather than an eBay invoice.

BTW, one reason that sellers may have difficulty with invoicing multiple purchases is that he may have listed the items on various sites. This is not uncommon with Canadian sellers. I list some of my items on eBaydotCA (Canada) and some on eBaydotCOM (USA). They look identical to buyers, but these sales cannot be combined automatically.

It sounds as if those particular items did not have a shipping cost to your location. If that's the problem, the seller has to add the shipping cost on to the invoice. All they have to do is to click on send invoice and then before they actually send it, they need to enter shipping costs for those items. After doing that, they should not click on recalculate as that adjusts the invoice back to the original amount.
