Hi I do not know about anyone else however I am getting real tired of people with low ratings bidding on items days before the auction.
Get a grip people this is an auction just like a physical auction however it is done online. Look at Barrett Jackson Auto Auction people can look at the shiny cars however until the hammer is dropped an the auctioneer yells sold the item is for sale.
There is not sense bidding on items days before the auction unless you work for the seller and want to raise the price. If people want to pay high prices then pay for it now and leave the auctions for people who enjoy the hunt of a good deal and excellent price.
But for people to bid ten cents every time or one dollar days before the auction...one question ...does this method work for you and now you know that you are upsetting the old timers with little patience for new bidders?
Happy Bidding and btw most people only bid two or three times on one item...not 5-6-9 times enough already!

you can't get anything for a penny or 10 cents if you don't bid a penny or 10 cents. it doesn't happen very often but every once in awhile you actually can get a fairly useful item for a penny with free shipping.
And you should want people to bid 5-6-9 times, let em get that " I have to win no matter the price" attitude. Not everyone bids there maximum out of the gate so they must return to bid and not everyone can be around for the final day of an auction so they have to bid early.

Some people do that because they actually believe they can win that way.
Some people do not understand how proxy bidding works.
Some of those dollar bids are from bidders who do know how proxy bidding works and bid early in part to discourage nibble bidders.
The old timer can win easily by putting the auction on a Watch list and making a high Snipe bid at the last moment.
If you are being outbid by newbies, you are bidding too low.
