How do I leave negative feedback for a non paying winner

In feeback forum it says that I can't because there was no payment. Hmm Well that's the point! They didn't pay! They stopped communicating and never paid and future sellers should know this!

Hi...sellers are not allowed to leave negative feedback for buyers or leave a positive with a negative in it, if you do the buyer can request from ebay to have it removed.

What you need to do is to file a UPI (Unpaid Item) dispute and if they don't pay then ebay will put a strike on there record and too many in a period of time can get them booted off of ebay.

A lot of sellers sets their "buyer requirements" to not allow buyers if they have a XX amount of strikes on them.

The Unpaid Item Strike not only gets your selling fees back and prevents the dipstick from leaving negative feedback for you, but also means that thousands of sellers, like me, who don't use auctions and never know who will buy our items, can automatically Block him by using the Block against bidders with Strikes.

There are a few other Block you may consider, including a block against bidders who do not have active Paypal accounts.

Another way to guard against non paying buyers is to have fixed price listings with immediate payment required. The listing remains active until you receive cleared payment from your buyer.

How do I leave negative feedback for a non paying winner

Hello 'cheekycpk',

The story goes that when sellers could leave negs for buyers, "the good ol' days" as some see it, too many sellers - really awful sellers, some of them, - would wait to see what was incoming and found the temptation to leave dreadful feedback, often untrue, too great to forego.  So now sellers have an even better, more lethal weapon -- the Unpaid Item case.  A buyer gets 2 of those in a short period of time and it means death to future ebay shopping.  Well, for a year, anyway.  I'm sure you have this link in your Favourites:

More to the point, - an unpaid item is a teensy inconvenience,  like a mosquito bite.  You have not had your leg bitten off by a shark.  Would you want a negative for every time a buyer felt inconvenienced by the transaction in some way?  If the item is delayed in the post, say?  Me, I think there are far too many negatives being hurled about as it is, but that is my opinion.  The following link will tell you all about blocking buyers, securing the shutters, bolting the doors and windows, ...

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html

Some folks (I won't mention names, but...) tell you to block people without paypal accounts but don't do it themselves because they like money.  Presumably you don't.  There are a lot of credit cards being used by mature and responsible payers.  If, however, your items attract an overabundance of non-paying zero-feedback newbies, you might need to consider it, for a time anyway.  Some categories seem worse for that than others.

There is one way - one way alone - to avoid non-payers (paypal account-only restrictions will not save you), and that is to set up your listings with fixed price ('buy it now') with immediate payment required.  That's the only way.  Do that, and you will never again have a non-payer, and you will not have to block anybody.  Whosoever steps forward to pay, gets the item.  Considering your items only get one bid, and your great distress at non-payers, it might be a wise course for you to take.

Best of luck 🙂

Set your buyer requirements to block bidders with 2 or more unpaid item strikes within the past 12 months.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
