How do I refund a buyer when payment hasn't cleared?

The payment hasn't cleared after 3 days so how can I refund when the funds aren't available? Can I refund the buyer with my credit card? Don't want to refund him with my bank account they charge fees all the time. Once I click on the refund button will I be able to choose the method in which I want to refund him? Thank you!

And another thing why should buyers be able to leave feedback when they don't ask for shipping costs before bidding? I had put my items for 'FREE LOCAL PICK-UP'  with mention in the description of possible shipping to Canada or USA should anyone be that interested but forgot to specify to buyers to inquire BEFORE BIDDING!! This buyer bought one of my items and paid right away never asking how much it would cost to ship it to him. He simply ask 'how' I would be shipping it. And I'm going to receive DSR on this transaction seems to me he shouldn't have a word to say in all this. He didn't do his homework in asking for a quote and then expected to have it delivered to him WHAT FOR FREE the pick-up is free not the shipping.  Not fair to have DSR on this. Ebay should not give the chance to buyers go give DSR when they don't ask for a shipping quote beforehand.

Hi . shouldn't need a funding source if its a cancel echeque..

Can I refund an eCheck payment that has not cleared?

Yes. If the status of a payment is uncleared when you initiate the refund, PayPal cancels the payment and does not withdraw the funds from your bank account.

However, if you refund a payment after your customer's bank has processed the eCheck the refund is sent to the customer's PayPal balance, not bank account.

If you were prepared to ship than shipping should be stated or not mention at all.

If the buyer wanted to buy isn't it his responsability to ask for a shipping quote if there's none stated? I was only trying to be nice in offering to ship if someone was really interested.

That's his homework to inquire I was only offering.  Seems like buyer has no responsabilities here! Where are sellers' rights in all this? Besides the buyer paid when in his invoice specifically said PICK-UP IS FREE! Not the delivery!! Geez! How nice I'm getting all this trouble for some irresponsable buyer. No wonder lots of sellers have messages in BOLD letters I understand now.

From now on IF I DECIDE TO SELL ANYTHING AGAIN ON EBAY I'll put 'pick-up only' NO SHIPPING ANYWHERE. So how do I block buyers who will bid and then pay but won't want to pick it up but will want it shipped? Is there a way? If there's none I will not sell on Ebay again.
