I live in Canada and would like to start selling on Ebay.com as well as .ca, however when I list an item on ebay.com, it will not accept my Postal Code for item location, I tried simply changing this to Canada and that didn't work either, I made sure my address was up to date on both .ca and .com, I tired Caps no caps, space no space, I'm out of ideas. I have expedited shipping from outside US selected for US shipping, but cannot complete the listing. I also would like to include shipping to Canada in my listing to ensure visibility on .ca as well but there is no outside US option for International shipping, I also can't leave it blank as it is auto selecting from China/Taiwan/Korea so which option should I choose? If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it! Thanks very much for your time!

but there is no outside US option for International shipping
Umm- are you using the Simplified Sell Your Item Form? That is the default for new sellers. It is designed to discourage international selling for inexperienced sellers.
The Advanced form, I think, is dropdown under SELL at the top of this page.
It's about four pages long, not the single page of the Simplified.
If we are shipping from Canada, we can't use the dotCOM Calculated Shipping which is based on the USPS rates and services.
We can't use those, so we have to opt for Flat Rate Shipping.
This puts us lower on the drop down menu and the options are simplified and given generic names. Look for Services from outside the US.
Fortunately, this also gives you more leeway in charges and services you actually use.
It will take a little research, but your Flat Rate should cover the cost of postage from the Canada Post site and of packaging and perhaps something for Cookie Jar Insurance.
Remember that you will be charging in USdollars. Actually, if you give the postage cost as stated in CDN on the Canada Post site, but in US dollars on the SYI form, you will have a comfortable cushion for packaging and problems.
Take your time. Your listings don't appear on the site for as much as 24 hours after you upload them. You can revise and revise and revise until you have it right. And you have lots of 'free' listings to mess around with.

By the way-- spend a lot more time on Canada Post's website. I don't understand why you need to charge $15 for a hockey"coin" that could travel by Light Parcel.
Are you using ExpressPost for the tracking pehaps?
Shipping is the hardest part of learning how to sell here.
Just for the record, the techical term for that 8c pair is 'imperforate' not 'imperforated'. The Unitrade number is 604a with a catalog value (MNH) of $200.00.

Is there any particular reason why you want to list on .com rather than on .ca. You can list on .ca and as long as you have shipping costs set up to the U.S., your listings will be seen on both sites. The default listing curency on .ca is $C but you can list in U.S. dollars if you use the advanced listing form. In most cases you have to change it to U.S.$ for each listing.
On the .com listing form....
For shipping to Canada or other countries, use the standard or economy International shipping options at the top. Make sure that you have one area set up for Canada and the other for the other international countries. But as a new seller, it might be a good idea to limit your shipping to Canada and the U.S. for a while. If you do ship to other countries, make sure that you do include a shipping price. Right now in your listings you have "Buyers outside of North America please message me for shipping quote." That can just lead to problems as they will bid without a quote but then not want to pay if they think the shipping cost is too high. Also, your visibility will be limited if you don't have a shipping cost for that country.
I don't recommend saying that you shipping expedite to any country, including the U.S. The buyer will probably expect the item to arrive there faster than possible...plus, you will sell more if you use an economical shipping method.
I don't know why you are having problems with the item location section. Have you tried just putting in your city and province?
