Since Canada Post only insures up to $1000, does anyone have any ideas on how to ship (across the border) items that exceed $1000? (Without paying a freight & crating company 10X the amount Canada Post charges!) There must be a happy answer.

personally, i use Canada post for cheap item I sell to usa but when i sell 300$+ value, i preffer to use FEDEX GROUND.

easy online application, pickup at my home, tracking..etc

I sugest you to take a look...they are not 10x more expensive than CanadaPost.

Yes, but FedEx or UPS will only insure up to $1000 too.

What if you sell something worth $5000?
