If you want to clear your Purchase History you simply click all the little boxes in the upper left corner of each listing, and then scroll down to the Archive bar and click that.
All it does, of course, is hide your recent purchases in your Archives.
Ebay saves your purchases in the Archives for 3 years, so if you are wishing to delete all that entirely to have a clean empty slate, there is no way to do it.
If you are sharing an ebay account with someone else, that may not be a great idea. People really ought to have their own ID. You can have up to 8 user IDs on a single paypal account, so married spouses sometimes share a pp account that way. But if you are buying gifts for others, you will need private accounts all your own if you want to keep the gifts a surprise.
And be sure to Log out each and every time after you are done shopping.
