How long does it take for eBay to treat and/or reverse a UPI?

I purchased something from a seller but he filed a UPI in the meantime.  I have made the payment and the item was received however ebay still says the unpaid item strike is valid.  I sent an email monday with proof and havnt received anything yet, is this normal?

Did you try appealing the unpaid item strike? If you provide a PayPal transaction number showing that you paid for the item you should be able to have it removed. Here is the page about appealing unpaid item strikes.

Perhaps I want clear enough, but the proof I sent was indeed sent to ebay email services via the UPI "wizard".

Yes I received an automated reception email but nothing else.

Is it normal for ebay to take so long or should I send it again?
