Hello all, I am sure all sellers hate when a buyer buys something and either takes forever to pay for the item or never pay for it. How to set the buy it now option so that, if someone buys the item he will be required to pay for it immediately? or else it won't let him buy the item in question.
thanks!

Set up your buyer requirements to suit your needs, and set up your shipping exclusion list to exclude countries you feel might be more problematic to ship to than they're worth. This will weed out a lot of problems even before they get to you.
And as the other posters have mentioned, use the "Require Immediate Payment" feature on items where you want immediate payment. Keep in mind that requiring immediate payment will make it impossible for buyers to select multiple items over a period of time, to be combined in one invoice for a shipping discount for example. You may have to help your buyers out in that case with a refund of shipping over-payment. For this reason I would suggest that you use ''Immediate Payment Required" only on items of greater value or higher desirability, which are more likely to sell on their own.
To set buyer requirements, go to your "My eBay" main selling page, open the drop-down list under "Account", select "Site Preferences" and under that list you'll see "Buyer Requirements". Click on "edit" (at the right-hand side of the screen) and check off the boxes as you wish. There are several filters that will effectively block problem buyers.
If you want to block a particular buyer (as opposed to filtering out certain types of buyers), use "Block Bidders" link at the bottom of your main Summary page and enter the buyer's exact ID in your list. Remember to separate IDs in the list with a comma.
