Can anyone give me a phone number for Paypal?  I need to talk to a real person.

Have you started from your Paypal account?

PP has a completely different staff from eBay, since they also act as payment mediators for hundreds of other companies.

Sign in to your PayPal account.  At the bottom of the page choose "Contact".  At the right of the page that you are directed to, is "More PayPal Help" and "Phone Support".  Clicking on that link will give you a toll-free number and a one-time pass code.
