So advice:
Are you the buyer or the seller?
I will presume the buyer.
If the seller cancelled the transaction, she would normally immediately refund as well.
Have you looked at your Paypal account? If your PP account is backed by a credit card, the refund would be there instead.
If you cancelled the transaction, when did you do so?
If it was within the last 24 or 48 hours, it is possible that the seller has not seen it during her weekend off.
You should receive the refund sometime on Monday. It takes only seconds to refund from Paypal. Again, check your PP and cc balances.
Sometimes eBay will cancel a listing because it is fraudulent.
If you have paid before the listing was cancelled like this, go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page and open an Item Not Received dispute.

Say that the listing has been cancelled by eBay. If the seller is Not A Registered User (NARU) say so. This will get your refund fairly quickly.
